Dougall has been involved in commercial real estate for almost 40 years. In that time he has become a commercial real estate specialist and visionary with a vast knowledge in virtually every aspect of retail and office development, leasing, marketing, and management. From 1983 to 2011 he was responsible for the Naples-based Lutgert Companies’ portfolio of high profile commercial projects, serving as Senior Vice President of Commercial Development. His keen eye for design, strategic planning, and his leading role in the development and leasing of such award winning projects as the high quality mixed-use Mercato, The Village on Venetian Bay specialty retail center, and the Class A Northern Trust Building, among many others, has made Dougall a leader in the field.
Starting in 2011 Dougall transitioned to a brokerage role under the Lutgert-affiliated Premier Commercial. In this role he has assisted buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants of all sizes and experience levels with their commercial real estate needs. He has focused especially on investment properties – including 1031 needs – and business brokerage. Over the course of his career Dougall has negotiated over a thousand transactions for several million total square feet of space for a broad range of clients, from the largest of national chains to individual start-up businesses.
Dougall graduated with honors in Economics from Hobart College and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. In addition to being a devoted family man, Dougall is an avid adventurer and water sports enthusiast.
Darren McCorkle joined his father’s practice in 2012. He works with Dougall collaboratively on almost all transactions, but has especially focused on project leasing and tenant representation. He has personally negotiated over a hundred transactions in his career. Additionally he heads up marketing efforts for the team.
Darren is a graduate of Kenyon College and has his Florida Real Estate Broker’s license. He is a loving husband and father and places personal and professional integrity as his core value.
